Sydney McKenna’s airy land and skyscapes evoke a sense of drama and mystery that portray the artist’s fascination with the intersection of the physical and spiritual worlds. Of her obsession with clouds, Sydney says: “The ethereal nature of clouds; the phenomenon of evaporation in general, reminds me of the spark of life; a lifting of the physical, into the spiritual. Meet the artist in the galleries and enjoy the music of popular Americana musician Colton McKenna in the courtyard.

Complementing this celebration of the arts are creative libations provided by The Twisted Martini and delectable hors d’oeuvres created by The Chef’s Garden.

There will also be a private reception from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m on July 11 for Renaissance Society members.
