Mayport

 The city of Jacksonville city council during the meeting Dec 9th will drive the final nail in the

coffin for the demise of the village of Mayport. We need support from the beaches city 

 officals to defeat this proposal.

 Mayport does not need a polluting cruise ship terminal.

 The ship would pollute the air, the water and worse, it would destory this historic

fishing village.  The argument for increased business is a joke, the majority of cruise packages, 

are just that, a package, they scoop the customers up and deliver them to the pier and 

reclaim them when they return and send them on their way.

The mayor of Atlantic Beach is in favor of it, sure why not, he won't have a cruise ship parked in

his front yard.  GENO
